INGREDIENTS (cook/prep time-30min)
2 cups gluten free oats
1/2 cup vanilla protein powder (i used whey)
1/4 cup raw honey
2 Tbsp.. ground flax
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 cup almond butter
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 cup Almond milk
1/3 cup craisins or enjoy chocolate chips
Preheat oven to 350 degrees, prep 8×8 pan by spraying pan..I used olive oil. Set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, combine oats, protein powder, flax, cinnamon, and salt.
In another mixing bowl, combine almond butter, honey, almond milk, and vanilla. Mix until fully combined. Pour wet mix into dry mix and stir. I use my kitchen aid for this.
Pour into prepared baking pan. Using a spatula or your hand, spread the mixture evenly in the pan, pressing down firmly.
Bake for 18-20 minutes until brown on sides.
Remove from pan, let cool before cutting bars. Enjoy!!
These are sooooo good! They are great to have on hand for a quick snack for in-between meals.
