INGREDIENTS (MAKES 2 CUPS)
1 tbsp. organic butter or coconut milk
1 cup sweet onion, minced
1 Tbsp. Coconut aminos
3-4 cloves garlic minced
1 tsp cumin
1 tsp mustard powder
1 tsp. oregano
1 tsp basil
1 tsp chili powder (optional) for heat
1 can 6oz. organic tomato paste
1 1/2 cups organic chicken broth
2 tbsp. apple cider vinegar
DIRECTIONS
Heat oil or butter in pan and saute onion for 3-4 min. until translucent. Add all remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Then bring to a simmer for 20 minutes till it thickens to your liking.
