INGREDIENTS
1 cup pecans, almonds or walnuts or both
1/2 cup dates
1/2 cup cacao powder (add more for extra richness)
1/4 tsp. Sea Salt
1/2 tbsp. or more coconut oil
Coconut Flakes
DIRECTIONS
Place nuts in food processor and blend on high until the nuts are finely ground
Add Cacao powder, salt and coconut oil.
Add dates one at a time. The consistency should be crumb like, yet soft enough to form into balls.
Roll into balls using your palms, roll in coconut flakes, stick in fridge or freezer for an hour and enjoy! I keep them in the fridge or freezer after that to keep fresh!
I like to double this recipe and freeze the extras!
