INGREDIENTS (makes 10 pancakes)
1/2 cup almond butter
1/2 cup unsweetened apple sauce
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. pumpkin spice
1 tsp. vanilla
One Banana
Blueberries or Raspberries
DIRECTIONS
Mix all ingredients in a vitamix or blender, and make pancakes:) Make sure you spray coconut oil or organic butter so it doesn’t stick. Much easier to make on a griddle as these take longer to cook. For topping, put berries in a microwave dish or heat on stovetop and pour on top of pancakes. The sweetness is all you need unless you want more, add maple syrup.
This recipe is a staple in our home! Kids love it<3 These pancakes are a fun weekend brunch option or even "breakfast for dinner" as we call it! Especially love the easy homemade fruit topping!
Awesome Lisa!!!!
I LOVE these pancakes. They are so easy to make and they taste amazing! It’s nice to know that something that tastes so good is good for you! It’s delicious with the berries and/or maple syrup…yummy!!
We love these pancakes! We often eat this for breakfast for dinner and the raspberry sauce makes it so yummy!
Tried these pancakes for the first time. So yummy! I dropped the blueberries in the batter. The sweetness from the blueberries was enough for me. I will make a few batches of these pancakes to warm breakfast or lunch the following day.
YAY!!! So glad you are loving them!!
I’m allergic to almonds, so I’m definitely going to try this one with cashew butter😊
Do you have good recipes for low to no carbs?
I don’t count the carbs just eat real whole foods:) Hope you love the pancakes!!!
My husband and I love these pancakes! I love that something that taste so good can be healthy and good for you. They will definitely be our go to recipe for pancakes. Thank you Debbie for your wonderful recipes!!
GREAT to hear!! Enjoy!
Made them this morning and they were so yummy! Thanks Deb❤️
I love these alternatives. The banana has absolutely enough sweetness. They’re definitely thinner than normal pancakes but you don’t feel so bloated and tired after eating these (for obvious reasons). I would give these 5 stars!
SO happy you liked them!
Made these for the second time this morning and my kids love them. My 3 year old asked if we could have them all the time! Another winning recipe for our family. Thank you Debbie for making healthy taste so good.
Aw yay!!! :))
